Reviews
Store itself is nice. Who needs name brands when you have stuff just as good for way less. Love seeing the crazy amount of stuff I can get for a low price. Main issue is the area. It's Jamaica Ave, so don't expect a perfect time all the time. I myself haven't had any issues as of yet but someday I know I will.
Aldi is okay for certain items, me personally I wouldn’t spend a ton of money there. The lines at this location are always long, some fruits and veggies be out for few days before it’s stock up again and to the review BELOW with the pictures of the two security guards I 💯% agree the tall guy is very mean, attitude sucks and is not friendly at all. Hire decent people who actually treat people fair it will make your business last longer!!
I always go to ALDI when they open the store but this time I never forget how this two employees react they was try to beat me & don’t know the humans manners at all,so management need to look up this security section otherwise you’re gonna loose lots of customers & end up close the store so it’s alarming time to look up & what happened with me you can check the store camera for more information (10/08/23) time is 3:10
This Aldi is ok. A lot of the times the lines are long. They rarely have baskets for quick shopping runs lot of times things are out of stock for a long time.
Most of the cashiers are quick and effecient. There is one asian
Kid who pissed me off today. He threw all my stuff in the cart. He didn't care that he threw a rack of ribs right on top of my bread and eggs. He needs to go, or taught how to properly place things in the cart. Cashiers don't do much so the last they can do is place things in the cart right.
Shoppers in this area Aldi and surround, BE ALERT 🚨 neighborhood is bad! On Sunday 12/17/23 a group of 3 kids ages 8-9 tried to snatch my cellphone and attacking for my bag! There was a lady with them but in distance! These kids are trained to rob peoples so early age I can’t imagine what they will do when they are in teenage! So don’t have wallet or phone in your hand they will snatch and run away! Aldi is good and clean but neighborhood will give less business!
Make sure check your receipts, I bought bag of brown rice along with other stuff, female Clark charges me 7 times of the brown rice. Good thing I noticed that and asked for manager and got refund. Below is the receipt.
Sign says Valet parking but you must have coupon.Store ran out of coupons so had to pay $3.00 to park for 15 mins..I spoke with manager Gabriel who said sign doesnt say free parking and its the fault of parking lot because they are Ghetto!! I quote!!!¡! I recommend skip the jamaica avenue store.Try another aldi!
Prices were pretty good . The only bad part was they don’t have a washroom for customers so I had to get out mid way grocery shopping and use Home Depot’s Loo :(
nice place to shop. well organized and maintained. My wife enjoys the variety they have. We shop here every week!
every time i buy bread it is stale so i will not buy it. the hamburger buns, frank buns, rolls, all good, but that bread. it's always kind of hard. and i have tried various breads. it's not fresh, but since i bought it, i make a pj sandwich
